LEE WEEKS
Lee A. Weeks was born June 14, 1940 in East St. Louis, Illinois to Walter & Mary Weeks. He spent the first 29 years living in Caseyville, Illinois where he
attended Caseyville grade school, Collinsville High School & graduated from
Ranken Technical College in carpentry & cabinet making.
In 1970 he moved to Stone County where he worked as a carpenter & cabinet
maker. He then worked as a Deputy Sheriff for Stone County. In 1984 he went
to work for Missouri Department of Agriculture, Division of Animal Health as
an enforcement officer. He then served as statewide enforcement supervisor
for 11 years, retiring in 2003.
Retirement proved to be as busy as his career, including house building,
wood working, gardening, hunting and fishing. He is survived by his loving
wife of 39 years, Billie Sondra Weeks, daughter Lisa Marie Weeks of Illinois,
cousin Jeanette McRoberts of Union, Missouri, two step-children Bill Long &
Cheryl Hill, four grandchildren & many great-grandchildren.
A Resurrection of Life ceremony will be held at the Crane Presbyterian Church Saturday, March 2nd at 1pm.
